This site began as a personal blog and online magazine back in 2004. Since then, it has become the host of my wine business. This was born out of a belief the wine should be accessible, fun and part of day-to-day life. Too often, wine is shrouded in ceremony, circumstance and complexity. Wine can be approachable and accessible to almost any budget. From grocery to luxury, wine has a place.
I am a Certified Sommelier and a wine educator. I aim to educate and entertain, and to demonstrate as often as I can. I teach private tastings, host a wine tasting show at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival, and guided tours to wineries and wine country.
